About Me (Kelby)

I am a photographer based in the Midwest U.S. I am constantly searching for the beauty in Midwestern landscapes that people routinely dismiss. I photograph these scenes with 35mm, medium format, and large format film.  I hope that my photographs will inspire other people to care about the places that are often overlooked.

In addition to photographing the Midwest, I have been fortunate enough to travel to and photograph some amazing places. My portfolio contains photos from all of my recent expeditions.

My photos have been selected for both the St. Olaf juried art show in the spring of 2024 and the 2024 edition of St. Olaf's fine arts magazine, "The Quarry". I was also selected to participate in the Emerging Artist program at Iowa City Arts Fest.
